I've got 2 spare glides for my outlaw pro stock car, and I figure that a powerglide has to weigh a whole lot less than an AOD. My 242 has slowly become a track only car. Much easier not having to worry about emissions and what modifications will kill your inspection tests. Plus I like things that are different, much like putting a 5.0 in a Volvo 10 years ago.
