Thanks for the reply. I too was struck by the flimsy nature of much of what Auto Art and similar folks sell. Some of it is nice, but much had no "gravitas" up close.

Just a market research question... Would you prefer the two finish clock with a thin or thick steel frame, or without it as it's pictured?

To me Boston is the town in the US - other than San Francisco, of course - that has the most SF-like feel, and other than the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter, I enjoyed my time there. I do like Boston, although when I was going to school there I always felt like a displaced San Franciscan. I was 22-ish and had no money so I could hardly live it up. I lived in the roach filled apartments across from the Victory Gardens that are now high dollar condos, and worked at Treeter Etc. in Cambridge Square.
