AC update questions

I also used a small ball valve in my 740 /LT 1 conversion but I modified it to work by the vacuum motor just like the plastic valve. The initial problem with the ball valve is that it doesn't turn easily but by heating it to soldering temperature, like the plumbers do when they solder them in ,the nylon inside loses its grip and the valve can be turned by the vacuum motor. Works slick.
