Just bought a Chevy powered 740. Question time...

That radiator is the corvette aluminum radiator that is the best option for a v8 volvo. It only weighs 10 lbs and is quite capable of cooling a 5.0 as long as it has sufficient airflow. It has a patented fin and tube design that allows heat transfer as good as a much bigger rad. Your car looks like a good conversion. i just acquired a 305 TPI (as opposed to your TBI) 740 turbo diesel. I just finished installing the same radiator in my car earlier today. As long as you keep the cooling fins unblocked and have a good fan (2300 cfm +) you should be fine. Make sure all the air goes through the rad and can not go around it.
