ECT problem? Need some help

Hi everyone,

I put in the new ECT and all is well. The beast is back! I cannot belive how strong that car is when running correctly! I also put in platinum plugs and cleaned and recharged the air filter.

As for the symptoms...about two months ago, I noticed the car was starting weird when hot, requiring me to put the pedal to the floor. I know now that there was power loss but did not notice then.

Then last week, I guess the sensor was really done and on cold starts, the check engine light would come on for 45 seconds or so, then go off and the car would run OK...did not drive too much after that happened, just a few miles to the tire shop for some new rubber and an alignment.
