Finally got to experience the AWD V70-XC70 1998

1 or 2 mpg is well worth the cost of having awd. The awd is not only for ice and snow, but wet pavement as well.
My 1988 R has awd and I got 27-28mpg highway @ 75-80mph cruising speeds. Only 22mpg around the suburbs. I was quite happy with that.
