Looks a lot like a fuel pressure pulse dampner:

You need to remove the 2 10mm aluminum bolts that hold the injector rail down. Loosen the fuel line at the top of the engine. Then carefully pull the injectors out, 1 by one. I used a 17mm box wrench to help pry them out. Do not pull them out using the fuel rail!! And don't drop the reusable injector seals behind the intake manifold, you will never see them again :)
Once the injectors are out, turn the fuel rail over and you will see small nuts holding the injectors to the rail and the pulse dampner. The dampner has an O ring that probably failed. Very unusual for this to happen.
