R turbo exhaust manifold swap

It is not a slam dunk. The low pressure turbo probably won't fit on the R manifold. Even if it does, you will not gain any more performance. Putting on a HPT will mess up your computer, so you will need a new one of those also. Then, if there is more compression at boost, you will need to change the crank bearings and wristpins.........

If you want an R or T5, may I suggest you look for the complete car. Word of warning, the R is AWD and slower 0-60 than the T5. Of course, if you get an R or T5, then you want to change the "chip".
