Help with Airplane Noise S70 1998

Lately my car is making some airplane noises while cruising down the street. It doesn't matter what speed I was going at. I know for sure it is not the engine. I am pretty sure that it is coming from one of the wheel. I am also pretty sure it is not the alignment or tires. Can't be the brakes either because I just got them changed recently. I am 99% sure the noise is coming from the front wheel bearings. Possibly one of the the bearing ball is deformed or broken. Can someone please tell me if my assumptions are right or wrong before I go buy the parts ($200 roughly per bearing).

sound like a front hub bearing. the hubs are so sold as a unit with the bearing installed.

hello when driving at about 20to30 mph cut the wheel left and right does the noise fluctuate if so you have a bad wheel bearing. if you cut the wheel right and the noise gets louder the left wheel bearing is bad.If you cut it left and it gets louder the right is bad.if the vehicle is all wheel drive you could have a propeller shaft bearing problem if the noise does not fluctuate when cutting the wheel.

How long ago was the brake job done? If it was done recently, I would take it back to the repair shop and make sure it was repaired correctly. The shop could tell you at that point if it is the bearings. Have the tires been rotated and inspected lately? "Cupping" of the tires or thread seperation can cause noises like you described.
