Engine won't respond like fuel pump gone S80 1999

I have a steady check engine light and transmission maintenance required message, as well as occasional brake failure and STC failure messages. I barely made it home today on premium gas by keeping the throttle at minimum. It felt like I had no gas to the fuel injection system. Any clues?

Based on my recent experience, I think it was due to throttle body.
It gets worst when engine is hot and sometime you will see "STOP SAFELY AND RESTART" message......
Good luck.

When our transmission went out we had check transmission messages & check engine light. Several times the car got stuck in 2nd gear & I limped home. Turning the car off & restarting it reset the computer & it would work normally for about 1 week. WE ended up having the transmission repaired. It is a 1999 S-80 T6. Good Luck! Sandy

Another piece of the puzzle: just tried the car after letting it cool and it runs like new, except after a long, long climb, then it hiccups again. Once again, it seems like it is running out of gas. Thanks for any ideas.

If you take it to a dealer, they could check for a code. Probably one is set. That will tell you what's really wrong.
