Hey S70 owners, have you had a problem with your hood latch. The passenger side unhooks fine. The driver's side seems to settle back down into the little holder devise after I pull the hood release. I have tried adjusting both sides up and down and left and right to find the sweet spot but it isn't doing any better. I also tried the proceedure that someone lists for a V70 where you adjust the cable on the hood release, still no better. I adjusted both in and out.

I can get the hood open but basically I have to pull the release, get out and pull the hood up a little, then release the hood again. Then the driver's side clicks and comes right open. I think that little black devise that holds the hood on the driver side may be shot. Before I start calling junk yards, has anyone fixed this problem?
