Hood latch is stuck S70

I love a cheap fix!

I used the method of wedging a screwdriver under the hood to get it open and then added the shim from a furniture protector and it worked beautifully. It is winter here so I didn't feel like messing around with adjustments or taking the interior panel off to adjust the pull.
