CD Changer options on 2001 models? V70-XC70 2001

I've just noticed that the 2001 models don't list optional cd changers. I only see the indash changer of 4cds. Is this true? Is there really no way to add on an external changer? If not, can an aftermarket one be used or does one have to go with a volvo brand? If it must be the volvo brand, how much and has anybody gotten any good quotes?
