Question about keyless remotes 850 1993

I have an 850Glt (winter pkg) and need another keyless entry. The dealer says over $100 for another. Is that true? Also, the paint job is cherry (garage kept always) but the black trim is faded. Any hints on how to get that trim looking as good as the paint?
