Battery drain?? 850 1993

on Thursday, one of my radiator hoses burst. So I replaced the upper and lower hoses (and the drain plug, because i broke it..) and filled the reservoir up last night and let it sit over night (hood open).

Today when I go to check it, it is almost like there is no spark or the battery was weak.

I have it on charge (it was drawing 3.5 amps, and read 12.1 volts).

It's a new enough battery (less than a year) that I don't think thats the issue. No door was left open, same with a dome light. keys were not in the ignition, and I don't have a hood light.

Any clues?
