Not that I'm endorsing insane driving but I'm curious as to what is the top speed anyone here has driven their S/V40?

I got the idea for this question from another site www.volvospy.com. It's a British based site. Some of the folks there....woahhhhh! One guy did 270kph(about 168mph). The speedometer was buried but he measured his speed with a GPS and reported that the car still felt stable and could have kept going up!

Again, don't get any ideas just 'cause somebody tried it. Not only is 168 illegal but it's three times the speeds you are used to driving. Things happen to an object at those velocities that you are not used to such as lift due to wind velocity which reduces the tire grip on the pavement, not to mention braking distances......

I confess I regularly do 80mph and the fastest I've done is 110mph and felt well in control. But anyone have any lapses of reason to share?
