Need help deciding on IPD ecu upgrade. Those who have please reply. 850 1995

I have seen reviews on IPD ecu upgrade from, not impressed to WOW!! I have heard several people say they sent their ECU back to IPD for credit unimpressed.
I really just need to know if the difference is really worth the money. If the difference is not outstanding then maybe I will just leave well enough alone. The car is already pretty fast.
(wouldn't keep up with my STS though!)
I have always sort have been the type of person to say, "You will spend more to make your current car faster than just to buy a faster car."
A STS Cadillac will go 0-60 in 6.4 stock but overall safety and build quality is not there. I really like my Volvo but to be blunt, it needs more ponies!
