Buying a S40... S40-V40 2000

I went and looked at a used S40 today at the dealer. The car has 37000 miles and some change on it. I've read mixed reviews on this care from edmunds and such. I really liked the car a lot, it's got a lot of pep for a little 4 banger. So what are some of the common flaws that people say and what are some of the things I should look for. As I said it has 37000 miles, it came in off a lease so I would assume any warrenty related issues would have been taken care of. Anyway thanks for sending me your thoughts!
