First, let me compliment this forum and all the folks participating. I've learned so much here. Cheers to you all.
So much discusssion on this board regarding evaporator replacement. I was wondering for those of you who have had one or more evaporator replacements, is it a more common problem if you live in an area such as the southern U.S. where you are more likely to use the a/c all (or most) year round? Is it less likely for one to have evaporator problems in the north if your a/c is dormant for 5 or 6 months during winter? I'm looking for a trend, where do you live and did you need an evaporator replacement one or more times? What year is the car? I live in Montreal, 98 S70, so far so good. Thanks for your responses.
