ebay/online car purchase..feedback request..considerations?

What things should I check if considering car purchase on-line and before bidding? I'm familiar w/eBay, this is different level, don't want to get burned.

Ex: Carfax, title search issues? and anything else?

Anyone with personal experience and comments greatly appreciated.
