My '95 N/A did this too and I think 123456 touched something about the coolant
temp sensor. I dont know why, but my engine stop to revs on cold start
immediatly after I replaced the thermostat.... I understand that there's
no direct relation between a thermostat change and a coolant temp sensor
but it fixed the problem !
