Help...Should I purchase? 850 1996

Hi all,
I am looking at a 1996 850r with 119k miles. It is truly spotless inside and out with only one owner. My concern is that I'm a single parent and don't want to get stuck with a car with constant repairs. I had the car checked out and all is good. It has snow tires as well. The seller is asking $6000 which I know is a good deal from my research. I want a good solid car for myself and my kids. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks so much.
