Am I nuts? Thinking to buy... V70-XC70 2000

My 240 bit the dust. My wife drives a 97 850 GLT and I know all the problems for that little joy to drive, like about once a year a $1200 item (ABS, A/C, etc.) So I probably should get a 940 wagon but they are 10+years old, and over priced here in SoCal ($7000 +) when you can find one not trashed.

Against my better judgement and wallet, I just saw a 2000 V70 Turbo with 65,000 miles for $14,000 asking. Am I nuts to consider buying into the ABS, A/C, electrical, etc. issues? Or should I just settle for the 940, or heaven forbid practical AccordCamry?
