V70 or faithful 240 V70-XC70 1998

I'm looking to buy another brick. I am now looking at a '98 V70 GLT. It's mint with 116K for $7,500. I've never owned any other Volvo but a 240, five of them. I'm looking at 2 240 Classics, both in Florda, both with relatively low miles, one with 60K and the other with 88K. I live in MA. The V70 is just down the road. How do the V70's hold up to the durability and reliablity of the ole faithful 240's?
