Window Motor - Down only 850 1993

Hi all -

Lowered my rear driver side window today and now doesn't go up.

Opened up door and unplugged motor. Test light indicates that one wire has power when down pressed other wire has power when up pressed. Off the door motor goes one way but not the other.

Questions:

Is this the motor failing or one of the switches?

If the motor I are they the same for left & right? Looks like if I flip the gears it might work on other side (wondering about that since if the motor I can get a used passenger side)
