My wife wants to move into the 21st century and that means selling our 1994 850 wagon with 198,000 miles. Its AC still works and the 5-speed manual is great. its does have a dent in a front fender (someone backed into) and a piece of rocker panel (below door) has broken off (snow bank) but thats the worst of it. In looking at www.nada.com I see the price range is about $4000 to $6200.
Is this realistic? I know its a Volvo but is it really worth that much? Wife is looking at mini-vans and we need every dollar we can get.
I'm thinking of keeping as extra car or retire my 93 (with 300,000 miles) and use it. But she is looking at a $30,000 vehicle and can really use the bucks if I could get it.
What do you all think?
