The awd on the new XCs are better than the old ones. The drive by wire problem has been solved. The only feature I do not like on the "new" Volvos is their over-use of the computers. You cannot replace any parts without a software down load from Sweden. Other than that...
Have you looked into overseas delivery? 8% of MSRP + 2 airfares to Stockholm. The only hitch is that options are not discounted, that way the dealer still gets his.
