Speaker removal V70-XC70 2001

I am attempting to remove and replace the rear door speakers in our '01 V70 T5.
I am having difficulty removing the speaker covers that are on the bottom inside of each rear door. Is there a special tool or procedure to remove the speaker covers? They seem to be very tight and act like they will crack and break easily.
Also, once I get the speaker covers off each door panel, is it a simple matter to remove the door panel to get to the speakers? It appears that there are pop rivets around the door panel that can be popped off to remove the panel.
As always, thanks to all Brickboarders for your help and suggestions. Fred.
