Re: Radiator Fan not working 850 1995

Hi. I'm driving a '95 855 N/A.

About a week ago I noticed that the car overheats when sitting at idle. It's not enough that I can't compensate by turning the fan and heater on, but it's getting warmer around here (Central Massachusetts), and I'm getting very nervous. I don't think the radiator fan's coming on at idle like it should. I don't have any codes in the A1 or A2 sockets, and the only OBDII code was for an EGR malfunction.

So long as I'm moving, I'm fine, and the temperature gauge seems to be behaving normally. I've heard this means I need to examine the fan relay, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for or how to test it. The fan relay is the cluster of three connectors by the passenger's side of the radiator? Is there another source for my problem that I should be looking into?

Thanks for your help.
