Alarm Receiver location 850 1996

Howdy fellow Bricksters,
I'm having a problem with my key less entry, So I looked at a shop manual for a 95 850 and it says that the receiver is located under right side of the instrument Panel, the problem is it isn't there. Did they move the receiver to another location in the 1996 (the one I have) year? Or is it right under my nose? If anyone has any knowledge about this it would be greatly appreciated.
