How to remove ECC Unit? Cabin temp sensor? V70-XC70 2000

I was off opening presents. The ECC unit just "pops" out after you remove the radio. Don't bother unplugging the radio.
The cabin temp sensor also just pushes out from behind. I found that using a vacuum cleaner with the crevase cleaner will draw a lot of dust out of the unit.

My V70 just gave me the blinking lights the other day, so I turned the fan from auto to medium speed. Then I turned the dial to every picture symbol, letting it sit for a minute to let the vent motors work and position themselves. I also hit the recirculate button to activate that vent. Then I put the fan back on auto, turned the car off, restarted, and all was well.
