225/45/17 tires

I have a 98 S70 T5 and just bought 17x7 rims. I want to go with 225/45/17 tires on them. If you have or have had this combination would you recommend it? I'm more concerned with tire rub, harshness of ride and rim fitment.
(I want the extra 1/4 inch sidewall height over the 215/45/17 and yes I've searched)
