Replacement for my 850 - need advice 850

Hello,

I plan to replace my 95 Volvo 850 soon. The car has 185K miles, runs well, still very comfortable and solid, but its overall cosmetic appearance shows age, and I need a cleaner looking car. I do all repairs myself,and want to apply my 850 experience to the next car.

I want to buy a used Volvo for up to $12K and looking at the following candidates:

2000 Volvo S70 - would be the best choice for me, but hard to find with relatively low miles

2001 Volvo V70 - not sure if I want a wagon, and not sure if there are problems for this new body type in 2001

2001 Volvo S60 - how close it is mechanically (repai wise) to 850? How much smaller is it? Are there problems with this year?
