Exhaust noise in 850 GLT 850 1994

I had two exhaust problems with my 850. All exhaust noises are louder on cold engine. When the pipes heat they expand and partially seal the leaks.

First - the flex connection of the exhaust manifold developed a hole. This was fixed by replacing the manifold (available for non-turbo models for around $300).
This was at 160K miles

Second - the clamp that connect the muffles pipe and catalytic converter pipe fell off. It is made of steel and simply rusted to the point of falling apart. This was a $20 part from a dealer and took 15 min to install. The mileage was, I believe, 180K miles.
