Seat Back Cable Fix 850 1994

Ok, I just had to do the seat back cable fix..took me about 2 1/2 hrs. Just like everyone said..its an easy DIY job ! I pulled the "speedometer" cable out of it's sheath, heated up the fitting with a torch on low heat and pulled the crimped fitting off, then sprayed a can of computer dust spray (upside down) to cool the cable/fitting off, cut about 1/2-3/4'' off the sheathing, then crimped the fitting back with a few punch marks. I have been putting this job off for sometime now and after doing it..I wonder why. The seat works perfect again !! Thanks to all the brickboard posters (and Bay13) who made this job possible !!
