Mine starts to squeal when I hit big bumps. After cranking up to 4 and then off for a while it will come back. It was quiet for a few weeks when the weather changed, but the old one is coming out when the weather warms again. (shows a later V70 but very similar)
PS the little metal staple on the squirrel cage stays on there for balance
