Auto Trans Upshifts at 5,000 RPM under WOT. What's the prob? 850 1995

Since I got this used 850 Turbo, it seems to upshift under wide open throttle at only 5,000 rpm. Also the rev limiter kicks in at only 5,500 RPM. I think my tach is fairly accurate but have verified it. Any suggestions?
