Just received a recall notice dated Jan 15, 2010 from Volvo North America for wife's 2002 S80. It covers various 2001 to 2005 models of S80, S60 V70 V70XC, XC90 sold in certain states. It concerns seepage and smell of fuel from the "fuel pump flange". Called dealer and they said if there is a smell to bring it in right away and they would fix it, otherwise wait till the parts are available in March 2010. Dealer said this was already a tech bulletin but was upgraded to a recall. Never heard of this issue before.
I would post here but do not know how, heard of trouble by other uploading. If anyone wants a copy I would be happy to email it. Maybe someone who knows how would post it here.
