My S40 check engine light had come on three times in the last two months, so I decided to find out what the cause was. I was hesitant, because I thought it was the K&N filter and some due to my tinkering. So I brought my car in at the apponted time which was yesterday night. While I was waiting, I decided to check out this Black fully loaded S60 T5 YEA BABY. I wanted to take this baby out for a drive, but in was too snowy outside. It even had vents on the middle pillars for the rear passengers! It wasn't a stick :( but with snow give me a auto tranny anyday! I don't like the rear light too much either. Anyways some lady backed into my S40 while I was checking out the S60. I thought they where kidding! They drove my car into the garage, cleaned off the dirt, we all checked the bumper. Nothing seemed to be scratch, dinted, or out of alignment! She must of just slid into my bumper. 5 mph capable and they sure mean it! after I said it was ok, they started the Vald something computer. I stood around watching them! :) They couldn't find any error codes expect gas cap! What?
I always turn it until it clicks three times or more! Hmm I said, ok. They didn't charge me nothing, they where also out of wipers :( 24 bucks isn't too bad I thought. I hope that was for both? They told me Volvo only sells full units and there isn't just blade units replacements. Maybe after market ones, but I don't like those! Only thing that could think that might set my check engine light to go off was, I was very low on gas almost to the point of the gas light coming on. Also not completly warming up my engine while taking a curve onto the highway. This was always after work and being on the highway for less than 30 seconds at a constant speed. What a night! Not to mention the head service guy that always help me and is very nice was telling me this lady bought this new C70 Convertible, HPT drove it for 15k then got a S60! Her friends said, it was too small in the back! WHAT then she decided to get her self an S80 Executive! Man I wish I had that kind of money to change cars like that!
