I have been tooling around with my fiances 1988 240 for a few months now. I have got a lot of help from this group and am now looking for some advice. I have been driving Honda's for the last 12 years and I am very interested in buying a used Vovlo wagon.

My current car (Honda Accord V6) has 205HP and some rather comfy accomodations but Iam tired of a car payment. What would anyone recommend? I'd like to pay something in the $7-8K range. Definitely a wagon. High mileage does not scare me nor does minor mechanical work. Famoous last words right?

Any input would be very helpful.
