I can hear the fuel pump hum. If memory serves, when the original pump was dying, I could REALLY hear the hum.

On extreme cold mornings, it would just crank and crank. Eventually, it would catch and idle for a few seconds (roughly) and then die. After more attempts, it would start and run as usual.

When this issue started during the warm weather, I just want to clarify that it would start perfect in the mornings. AFter you ran a few errands of stopping and starting the motor, I would on occasion, just crank and crank without turning over. If you just waited a while, it would start and get me home. I haven't had the engine die while it was running in DRIVE.

I did a major tune-up about 1 1/2 years ago. Yes, I did replace the dist. cap and rotor. Coil is original.

If I was having a fuel injector problem, wouldn't I have a rough idle from low compression? The car runs like a champ once it starts.
