Lowering the C70 C70 1999

Does anyone have any experience with lowering the C70. I have the 17" 5 spoke wheels & michelins and although the car looks outstanding I can't help but think it would look just a little better with a 1"-2" drop. If anyone has done this can you tell me what parts are needed, cost, Difficulty, is ride and handling adversly affected. If you have a pictures I would love to see them.
