Re: Where are the standards? 850 1994

From MY1993 until MY1997, in the US, both 850 sedans and wagons could be found w/ manual transmissions only when equipped w/ the normally aspirated engines. From My 1993 until My1996, these cars were labeled either as "GLT" or (internally) as "M" (w/ out sunroof) or "GTMS" (equipped w/ the GLT package and sunroof). In MY 1997, the "GLT" badge signified the, then, new low-pressure turbo engine and no manual was available in GLT. Only in normally aspirated engine models.

The "tradition" continued with the introduction of the S and V70s in 1997 (MY1998) only this time we were fortunate to also have the manual transmission w/ the T5 engine. The GLT was still (and still is) offered w/ auto only.
