ABS module removal is a piece of cake 850 1996

I tried unplugging the 2 wire connector first according to the pics on Matthews Volvo site, but that was too difficult. The large black cover rotated easily up and toward the passsenger side, unplugging itself from the ABS module. Then the 2 wire connector was easily lifted out.

The 4 E5 screws came off nicely with a 5/32 socket. While it was hard to 'feel' good contact, after a full turn it was only finger tight. Air cleaner stayed in place during the process, the heated air intake had already been permanantly removed.

So the module is ready to be packaged and sent to Mid-west ABS, Matty Moo is closer to me than Victor.

Thank you.
