Gasoline vapor cannister routing 850

Yes, the error P0455 comes up and now that the weather is nice, I thought it was time to find the solution.

The top of the cannister on my 1996 has a large line and two smaller lines. Large line is good, one small line goes up around the engine fan and looks fairly new.

Question: The other line is missing?????? All I have is a U shaped connector that fits on the top of the cannister, just like the other smaller line. But, there is NO vacuum hose. Nothing. Where is it supposed to connect and how does it get there?

This is my only code except for the rear O2 sensor, which may or may not get replaced this year...
