What do you'll think of this intake set up? 850 1997

I have a good friend of mine who wants a “open air element intake” (cone). Now, as we all know it’s a piece of cake to install on the TURBO model 850’s however on the N/A models it’s a different story. The model which I attempt to install this intake is a 1996 Volvo 850 SE/GLE (B2525S) 10 Valve D.O.H.C T3, This Volvo seems to have a flimsy intake pipe/tube with the MAS in the top of the intake box followed by 2 vacuum lines I was planning to get a custom made intake pipe (like the T5’s have them) with a hole already in it to place the MAS on as well as the vacuum lines followed by the cone of course. My main question is what do you all think of this set-up? Will it work? Or not?

P.S. I’ve recently installed an intake breather.
