ID on wires underneath drivers carpet 850

Hi -

I was doing a project to dry out my drivers side carpet on my '95 850... I noticed there are 4 wires - red, black, green, orange- underneath the carpet but above the sound proof foam. They come from behind the heater core and go up above the pedals. Anyone know what they are for?

One was disconnected at a butt splice connector - I assume green goes to green but I also notice one end of it is 18 gauge and the other 14. The orange wire has no obvious other half it goes to...

Thanks in advance,

Andrew in St Paul, MN
