Replace blower motor V70-XC70

Hey Klaus - old topic, but now relevant for my son's '02 V70 wagon (230K miles, #3). Blower starting running real (REAL!) slow this winter, pulled it out and it seemed to tun OK when pulled out (?). I figured, I might as well replace it, but wanted to know if I also should replace the resistor?

Best regards,

Bernie (Bernd)

PS: SRS indicator warning light came on - I guess I violated one of your rules (like checking the ECC fuse without disconnecting the battery (%$*!T).

PPS: Merry Christmas !!!
