2007 heater fan and resistor/control module XC90 2007

The only way to get that bolt is with the dash removed, and you don't want to go that route.

Obviously, one of the people did manage to break the case because he put in a new one. I suggest drawing the case down slowly to stress the tab and then pull harder. It will break, this is rigid plastic.

I would also replace both the blower and the resistor, no need to go through the procedure again for the blower. You can save the blower for when the new one starts making a lot of noise in 10 years :)
