XC70 hard start - improves when key held in #2 for 5 seconds V70-XC70 2005

Fuel Check Valve? Bad injector? My 05 XC70 has had this issue for a while now.
Car seems to be wanting gas. Doesn’t start up right away - instantly that is.

Symptom seams to disappear when I hold the key in position 2 first for about 5 or so seconds.
Have read some posts on different causes. And advice on where to start? Check value (btw intermittent inaccurate fuel level reading) not sure if Check and Sender are related issues?

Or do I start on the injectors?

Any advice based on the symptom and the temp work around with the key in 2 position?
